S T O R M

Into the storm, I brace myself.

My back’s against the wall.

Left and right, It swirls me by.

O God don’t let me fall.

S T O R MUp and down

And back and forth

My feet seek solid ground.

I need a firm hold, I know,

But I just keep getting’

Knocked around.

Right me O Lord,

And place me upon

Your Solid Rock.

For the door of my heart

Was opened at the sound

Of Your very first knock.

Now in faith, I see

S T I L LThe breaking of this storm,

Your Son is shining through.

And by Your grace

A haven found,

As the sky turns clear and blue.

Into Your Hands, I lay myself,

My heart’s before Thy Will.

Then of hope and love

In Jesus Christ,

All the storms are replaced

With calm and still.
