P A R A D E

Butterflies bounce upon the drifting wind,

While floating clouds seem to parachute safely around the bend.

Hornets scurry as daylight dreamed through its lazy day,

And Hummingbirds danced their ballet.

Along the river which time never greets,

A whisper never heard from lips that speak,

Life becomes life and celebration never fades,

At this place of eternal lifeís parade.

Elsewhere escape is the common cry,

Everyday had such evil in its eye.

Stress bore worries to the mother of ill-fate,

Which in turn birthed turmoil, well known of late.

And once this foundation was laid,

No rest or peace could ever be made.

So like a flower without loving care,

I was destined to all lifeís burdens to bare.

But then a friend brought me to this paradeís open door.

No more demands or requirements like I once bore.

Just quickly mended with laces of joy,

I stepped into the parade like a little boy.

Now this gift to all I can also give,

Rejoicing in where I really live,

For Eternal Life is a parade,

When joy never fades.

Come and join the life that always will be,

Life that is never burdensome, just free.

It comes from Jesus, the Savior on High,

He gives us peace and comfort abundantly even before we die.

So step into the showcase where dreams are real,

Where Jesus is the King to whom all will kneel,

Into His glory, His wealth, beauty, celebration and toasting,

Into the parade of never ending singing, praising, and rejoicing.

Yes, step into the parade of eternal life,

All joy, no more strife.

Itís the parade for all who believe in salvation,

Going to Heaven with great celebration.

So step into the showcase where dreams are real,

Where Jesus is the King to whom all will kneel,

Into His glory, His wealth, beauty, celebration and toasting,

Into the parade of never ending singing, praising, and rejoicing.
